About Project
The National Drug Authority has the mandate to promote and protect public health through the effective regulation of human, and animal medicines, and healthcare products. To communicate this message simply and effectively, we developed illustrations that depict how to reduce poor-quality human/veterinary drugs in Uganda. We used a comic style that readily appealed to all age groups. These were used on marketing materials like calendars, websites, social media and office branding.
About NDA
The National Drug Authority ensures the availability, at all times, of essential, efficacious, and cost-effective drugs to the entire population of Uganda as a means of providing satisfactory healthcare and safeguarding the appropriate use of drugs.
